Payments Consulting & Implementation Manager

Job summary

The role involves managing and supporting the execution of payment development and implementation projects for clients in the Nordics. The position requires extensive experience in navigating complex organizational structures and delivering projects within the payments and cards sector.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of card and payments products and their ecosystem.
• Background in management consulting with the ability to market services and build client trust.
• Experience in consulting on payment-related projects, driving business and technical initiatives from start to finish.
• Proven ability to liaise between business and technical teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Skills in managing project dependencies and associated risks.
• Experience in transformation and business readiness initiatives.
• Ability to manage and support project team members from both the company and client sides.
• Familiarity with delivery techniques and methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Fluent in English and either Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute change projects from current state to target solution.
• Manage resources and provide visibility and progress reporting for the program.
• Engage and manage key stakeholders effectively.
• Drive initiatives and tasks with professionalism and quality.
• Ensure collaboration within change initiatives.
• Understand and support clients' business objectives and needs.
• Identify opportunities for improving working methods.
• Provide thought leadership on the future of payment and retail banking as needed.
• Coordinate with Hub teams for support and best practices.

Education

• Relevant educational background in a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is advantageous.
