Payment Specialist (On-site, Herlev)

Job summary

The role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of a Card Present payment platform and an in-house Payment Application. The Payment Specialist will be responsible for testing new features, investigating transaction issues, and monitoring payment flows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line support for Card Present payment issues.
• Conduct QA testing for new features and releases.
• Monitor live transactions and investigate anomalies.
• Analyze transaction flows and logs to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Tech Operations to resolve payment issues.
• Validate bug fixes and support regression testing.
• Document findings and recommend improvements.
• Assist with the rollout of new terminal functionality and platform enhancements.
• Escalate issues to external partners as necessary.

Skills

• Experience with payment terminals or Card Present payment flows is a plus.
• Familiarity with log analysis and monitoring tools.
• Experience with APIs.
• Understanding of transaction lifecycles, including authorization, clearing, and settlement.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS is advantageous.
