About the role

Job summary

This role involves supporting the People & Culture team by ensuring the office environment is well-maintained and organized. The Office Assistant will handle various tasks related to office supplies, cleanliness, and event coordination.

Qualifications

  • Availability for 20 hours per week, primarily during lunchtimes and around events (4 hours a day).
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative in maintaining office order.
  • Strong organizational skills to keep supplies and common areas tidy.
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills to interact with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory of office supplies and ensure essentials are stocked, including food and cleaning materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including post-lunch clean-up and coffee machine maintenance.
  • Assist in organizing team events such as Friday bars and monthly breakfast clubs.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and provide support to colleagues as needed.
  • Help with hardware inventory and equipment preparation for onboarding.
