OT Security Architect

Job summary

This role involves leading the development of the OT security architecture for operational technology platforms across various sites. The position requires acting as a Technical Authority for OT security, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring secure solutions are consistently implemented across projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in OT cybersecurity and security architecture, preferably in energy or industrial sectors.
• Strong expertise in IEC 62443 and related frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2).
• Proven track record as a senior technical lead or authority in multiple systems or projects.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the OT security architecture baseline based on IEC 62443.
• Own the design and lifecycle of OT security controls across projects.
• Establish and enforce security standards and reference architectures.
• Guide and coach engineering teams on secure design and implementation.
• Own key OT security workflows such as access management and incident response.
• Contribute to OT/IT reference architecture and lead design reviews.

Skills

• Strong mentoring and coaching abilities.
• Experience in structuring and documenting architecture principles.
• Understanding of OT environments where availability and safety are critical.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or related fields.

Tools

• Familiarity with security engineering tools and methodologies.
