Operations Technician (Food Industry, Hobro)

Job summary

The role involves being a CIP Superuser responsible for ensuring stable and efficient Cleaning-In-Place processes, driving production optimization, and reducing waste in collaboration with various departments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dairy technician with knowledge of CIP in the food or process industry.
• Understanding of hygiene requirements and good manufacturing practices in food production.
• Comfortable with data, systematic in work, and strong in cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactive and improvement-oriented, with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own and update standards, recipes, and procedures for CIP.
• Collaborate closely with Ecolab on chemistry, dosing, testing, and ongoing improvements.
• Responsible for CIP IQ at the dairy center, managing the Ecolab CIP validation program.
• Lead improvement activities focused on eliminating waste (time, chemicals, water, energy).
• Monitor performance and improve key metrics (cleaning time, temperature, conductivity, chemical usage, water recycling).
• Troubleshoot and manage deviations in collaboration with production, quality, technical, and supply teams.
• Train operators and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety requirements.
• Contribute to changes, trials, validations, and audit documentation.
• Participate in daily tasks and staffing of the cleaning area.

Education
