Operations and Resource Management Intern (Nonprofit, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This internship position is within the Operations and Investments team, focusing on resource management, reporting, and data analysis related to fundraising efforts. The role involves supporting financial planning and monitoring for various partnerships and programs.

Qualifications

• University-level degree in Social Sciences, Business and Economics, International Relations, or a related field.
• Fluency in English with strong writing and editing capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Tech-savvy with an interest in budgeting and fundraising.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data quality assurance for Annual Implementation Plans and Quarterly Reports.
• Support resource management, including monitoring implementation rates and budget reallocations.
• Help prepare financial documentation for National Association Partners and conduct ad hoc analyses.
• Contribute to the development of internal and external guidance documents.
• Assist in planning and executing meetings and events, including drafting minutes.
• Provide procurement and administrative support to the team.

Skills

• Experience with online content management platforms and SharePoint is desirable.
• Knowledge of a second UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is a plus.
• Understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods is beneficial.

Education

• Candidates must be recent graduates or current students in an accredited university program, having completed at least two years of undergraduate studies relevant to the role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential.
