NPI Engineer (Remote, Engineering)

Job summary

The role involves working within the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, which is part of the Product Engineering division in R&D. The NPI Engineer will bridge the gap between product development and volume production, focusing on the manufacturing and testing of prototypes and initial sales units.

Qualifications

• Technical background in optics/photonics, electronics, or production engineering.
• Experience with complex technical systems such as optical fibers or electronic test setups.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong process-oriented mindset and collaborative team player.
• Proficient in English; Danish language skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis to resolve technical issues.
• Analyze manufacturing and test data to enhance quality and productivity.
• Build and test advanced laser configurations for customer shipments.
• Improve and standardize production processes, including training and supporting technicians.
• Assist in the transfer of products and processes to full-scale production.
