NPI Engineer

Job summary

The role involves working within the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, which is part of Product Engineering in R&D. The NPI team focuses on bridging the gap between product development and volume production, handling the manufacturing and testing of prototypes and initial sales units.

Qualifications

• Technical background in optics/photonics, electronics, or production engineering.
• Experience with complex technical systems such as optical fibers, free space optics, or electronic test setups.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong process-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in English; Danish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis to resolve technical issues.
• Analyze manufacturing and test data to enhance quality and productivity.
• Build and test advanced laser configurations for customer shipments.
• Improve and standardize production processes, including training and supporting technicians.
• Assist in transferring products and processes to full-scale production.

• Proactive and process-driven approach to work.

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools
