Job summary

This role involves contributing to the development of milk quality standards and practices within a collaborative global team focused on food safety in Northern Europe. The position offers the chance to work closely with farmer owners and various stakeholders across the supply chain to enhance raw milk quality.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Dairy Science, Dairy Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
  • Some professional experience is preferred, but recent graduates with a strong interest in milk quality and food safety are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects aimed at improving milk quality.
  • Coordinate activities among different countries and stakeholders.
  • Build structure and insights for ongoing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various business functions and engage with external experts such as laboratories and veterinarians.

Skills

  • Strong curiosity and motivation to make a difference in milk quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cultures and disciplines.
  • Comfortable coordinating tasks and driving progress with support from experienced colleagues.
  • Clear and confident communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with cooperative structures is a plus but not required.

Education

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.

Tools

  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools is beneficial. Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid work, are offered, along with opportunities for travel.
