Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in construction projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mechanical engineering activities on major construction projects.
• Coordinate design documents and drawings to ensure accurate implementation.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Prepare coordinated drawings across various disciplines including mechanical and electrical.
• Review design specifications and technical submittals for compliance and feasibility.
• Support the preparation of weekly progress reports.
• Manage purchase orders and equipment deliveries.
• Clarify design ambiguities through RFIs.
• Monitor project commercial aspects including variations and profit plans.
• Collaborate with designers and contractors to resolve issues early.
• Attend and mediate technical meetings as necessary.
• Manage document control processes.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities for timely installations.
• Conduct inspections and P&ID/layout walkdowns.
• Track test packs to ensure project integrity.

Education
