Mechanical Design Engineer (Aarhus)

Job summary

The role involves working as a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on developing innovative design solutions for equipment in the food processing industry. The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark, and requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (mechanical, mechatronics, or related technical field)
• Over 2 years of experience in engineering technical systems, preferably in the food industry
• Experience with additive manufacturing, FEA, and CFD
• Familiarity with robotics (6-axis, delta, and SCARA robots)
• Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks) and PDM/PLM tools
• Good English communication skills; Danish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve a group of equipment through design updates
• Adjust equipment to meet new needs and develop future platforms
• Collaborate with a project team to design and develop mechanical solutions, including creating necessary documentation in 3D CAD and PDM systems
• Ensure compliance with functional, hygienic, safety, and cost requirements
