Job summary

The role involves optimizing and digitizing the production execution of rocket propellant in a new high-tech manufacturing facility. The MES Engineer will ensure real-time visibility, batch traceability, and compliance with strict quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in MES configuration or industrial automation in high-quality manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

  • Standardize and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) and Electronic Batch Records (eBR) for propellant manufacturing.
  • Translate operational procedures into digital execution flows, ensuring quality compliance.
  • Integrate shop-floor SCADA and PLC systems with enterprise software (SAP ERP, LIMS).
  • Ensure complete batch traceability and compliance with GxP and ISO standards.
  • Analyze execution data to improve operational efficiency and usability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software incidents and manage system upgrades.

Skills

  • Proficiency in major MES platforms (e.g., PAS-X, Siemens Opcenter) and SQL database management.
  • Experience in connecting shop-floor hardware to enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of GxP, ISO standards, and industrial cybersecurity.
  • Fluent in English; Danish is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
