Managing Counsel, Commercial (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves providing legal support for commercial transactions, particularly in the EMEA region, as part of a fully remote legal team. The Managing Counsel will deliver innovative legal solutions while protecting the organization from risks associated with commercial agreements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial transactions, especially enterprise-level SaaS agreements and sales contract reviews.
• Familiarity with partnership and channel/reseller agreements is advantageous.
• Prior experience in the HR Tech industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills are essential.
• Knowledge of data protection laws, particularly GDPR, is required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently while collaborating with various teams.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor for EMEA sales teams, focusing on contract negotiations and reviews.
• Support AMER sales teams as needed, ensuring consistent legal guidance.
• Draft and negotiate partnership and channel agreements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to align commercial agreements with business goals.
• Develop resources and training for internal stakeholders on commercial issues.

Education
