Job summary

An experienced Manager is sought to lead the newly formed Operation Support team in Drug Substance Manufacturing at a site in Hillerød, Denmark. This role involves providing hands-on support to ensure safe and efficient 24/7 production, establishing team structure and priorities, and collaborating closely with various stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience with a strong focus on collaboration and urgency.
• Background in drug substance manufacturing or related support functions within GMP biopharma.
• Successful track record in team building, strategic direction, and change management.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and foster trust while maintaining stakeholder relationships.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with proficiency in visual management and KPI execution.
• High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing Operation Support team, ensuring a culture of psychological safety and commitment.
• Establish a 24/7 operating model for first-line manufacturing support to maintain operational stability.
• Drive adherence to plans and timely task execution through visual management and KPIs.
• Act as the escalation point for complex issues, coordinating cross-functional responses and ensuring follow-through.
• Respond urgently to critical shop floor issues to minimize downtime and batch risks.
• Facilitate structured problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with various departments including MSAT, Engineering, and QA to ensure effective operations.
• Represent the manufacturing area during audits and inspections, providing clear and consistent communication.
• Maintain proactive communication across shifts and functions, ensuring timely updates to leadership.
