Machine Safety & Documentation Engineer

Job summary

This role involves working within a global production team to manage documentation and risk assessment for equipment developed in-house. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all project stages related to documentation and risk assessment are executed effectively, contributing to the development of high-quality technical equipment.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering or production with a focus on machine construction.
• Experience with machine directives is essential.
• Familiarity with machine risk evaluation, preferably using Safeexpert.
• Hands-on experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD systems, ideally NX.
• Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter is advantageous.
• Experience in creating manuals is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong collaborative skills and an investigative mindset.
• Detail-oriented and structured approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all project stages to ensure comprehensive documentation and risk assessment delivery.
• Understand project timelines and delivery requirements.
• Define and maintain processes for equipment development to ensure quality documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments in accordance with machine directives.
• Clarify roles and ownership related to documentation across projects.
• Create documentation resource overviews for various projects.
