The Logistics Associate role is part of the Logistics Management Services Team within the Supply Chain Management Unit. This position is essential for the efficient management of logistics operations, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective supply chain execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics operations, inventory management, or supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical skills for processing logistics transactions and monitoring performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing logistics operations for programme supplies and humanitarian products.
• Provide guidance on logistics and inventory management to internal and external customers.
• Process customer orders and monitor logistics transactions from receipt to delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
• Analyze quotations and freight rates to support decision-making.
• Monitor inventory levels and support transportation planning.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and logistics standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in logistics management and supply chain operations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
