Lead Project Manager (Financial Services, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The Lead Project Manager will oversee critical and complex initiatives within the Group PMO, driving transformation and ensuring high-quality project execution across the organization. This role involves end-to-end ownership of cross-functional projects, including regulatory compliance, platform infrastructure, and product launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex, high-impact projects across the organization.
• Manage governance, planning, financials, risks, and reporting to maintain alignment on project status.
• Facilitate cross-functional stakeholder alignment and support clear decision-making processes.
• Mentor and support other project managers within the Group PMO to enhance overall project management standards.
• Contribute to the development and maturation of project management frameworks and standards.

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of project management experience with a focus on large, complex projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proven experience in cross-functional project delivery within complex organizations.
• Experience in the financial sector is advantageous.

Skills

• Proficient in project planning, governance, and reporting tools, such as Monday.com.
• Excellent facilitation and leadership skills, with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders effectively.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in project management or related fields.

Tools

• Familiarity with project management software and tools for planning and reporting.
