Job summary

This role focuses on leveraging data to enhance marketing effectiveness and drive growth within a high-impact analytics team. The Lead Data Analyst will utilize advanced analytical techniques to provide insights that inform marketing strategies and optimize spending.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in SQL and R or Python with a strong grasp of regression models and statistical significance.
  • Experience in Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and incrementality testing.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience with BI tools like Looker (LookML) to create accessible data visualizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own methodologies for measuring marketing effectiveness through sophisticated analytics.
  • Conduct complex analyses such as cohort analysis and predictive modeling to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and analyze A/B and multivariate tests.
  • Support the development of analytics infrastructure and integrate solutions into the data stack.
  • Create intuitive dashboards that provide actionable insights for various stakeholders.
  • Analyze the sales funnel to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for revenue expansion.
  • Work with data engineering teams to ensure the reliability of marketing data pipelines.

  • Strong technical skills in data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Strategic thinking in marketing analytics with a focus on understanding the rationale behind spending decisions.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Commitment to data quality and experience with modern data stacks.

Education

  • Relevant degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience in data analysis and marketing.
