Lead Analytics Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves leading the delivery of scalable cloud-based analytics solutions within a global Reporting & Analytics team. You will ensure high-quality data models and reporting outputs while mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices in analytics engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6–10+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data engineering, or similar roles
• Proven experience with modern cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)
• Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling
• Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Power BI
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring team members
• Deep technical understanding of analytical concepts

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of analytics engineering initiatives within assigned areas
• Build and maintain scalable data models and reporting solutions using modern cloud-based platforms
• Ensure high technical quality and scalability of analytics solutions
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Develop and promote standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions
• Maintain, monitor, and continuously improve existing analytics solutions
