About the role

Job summary

The LCL Operations Agent plays a vital role in managing the logistics of export and import shipments within the Nordic LCL team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure operational excellence and maintain high service levels throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
  • Understanding of international transportation, import/export processes, and shipping documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with operational and financial data.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end LCL export and import shipments according to operational procedures and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate booking execution, documentation, cargo movements, and customs-related activities.
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays and operational exceptions.
  • Maintain accurate updates in operational systems and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Validate operational costs and ensure accurate financial entries related to shipments.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on customer service and operational efficiency.

Education

  • Relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with CargoWise (CW1) is a plus.
