Job summary

The role focuses on leading strategic sales and marketing initiatives within the Veterinary channel, ensuring growth in the Nordic market through effective management of key accounts. The Key Account Manager is tasked with achieving sales and profit targets while aligning with the company's objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in business, marketing, or animal science.
  • Advanced negotiation training is a plus.
  • Experience in the veterinary field or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
  • Over 3 years of experience managing key partnerships at headquarters level.
  • Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence, lead change, and develop team culture.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans with key veterinary customers.
  • Build relationships with buyers, CMO’s, veterinary directors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the field team to enhance industry knowledge and program adoption.
  • Manage customer negotiations, trade expenditure, and promotional investments.
  • Work with marketing and scientific teams to develop annual marketing plans.
  • Conduct periodic forecasting and track sales performance against forecasts.
  • Lead or participate in projects for personal development and growth.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to enhance customer relations.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and customer engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and project leader.
  • Excellent analytical and prioritization skills.

Education

  • Bachelor or Master degree in business, marketing, or animal science.

Tools

  • Familiarity with sales and marketing tools relevant to the veterinary industry.
