Key Account Manager (Specialty Coatings, Remote)

As a Key Account Manager, you will operate in a dynamic environment, utilizing your entrepreneurial spirit and strategic mindset to foster customer relationships and drive sales in the Specialty Coatings sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a science-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in Heavy industry segments such as Mining and/or Petrochem.
• Experience selling to Equipment OEMs, Industrial Contractors, and EPCs, with a focus on engineered and technical products.
• Familiarity with Sales Processes and CRM, particularly SalesForce.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to understand their needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Create and execute a strategic growth plan for the Coatings and Grouting industries.
• Collaborate with Segment Manager for tactical planning and objective setting.
• Work with the distributor network to identify growth opportunities at major accounts.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and adapt to changes in demand.
• Address customer pain points with effective solutions.
• Partner with product management to identify new product needs and assist in product launches.
• Support National Account Channel management to enhance business growth.
• Maintain high standards of Sales Excellence using SalesForce.com CRM.
• Engage in market/channel projects to align with overall business strategies.

Skills

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel 60% - 70%.
