Job summary

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of key maritime customers, focusing on driving sales growth and developing strategic account plans. This role requires a strong commercial mindset and the ability to build relationships with decision-makers in the maritime industry.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial roles within the maritime sector (shipping, marine services, ship management, etc.)
  • Strong track record of driving sales growth and closing deals
  • Experience managing complex, international customer relationships
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Nordic languages is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of key maritime accounts with full commercial responsibility
  • Drive profitable sales growth through upselling, cross-selling, and new business development
  • Identify and convert opportunities using market insight and customer knowledge
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with regional and global targets
  • Lead customer meetings, negotiations, and commercial discussions
  • Collaborate with Technical Sales Managers and Business Development teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Maintain high-quality pipeline and CRM data using Salesforce

Education

  • Relevant educational background in business or a related field is preferred.
