IT/OT Data Engineer

Job summary

The role involves developing digital solutions to optimize Pharmaceutical Production by transforming data from production equipment and other sources. You will lead projects from conception to implementation and become a key technical expert on the Production Data Platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical production, industrial automation, or manufacturing IT/OT.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial communication, networks, and production systems.
• Proven experience in driving technical projects from requirements to implementation.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and challenge unclear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive Manufacturing Intelligence projects from idea to implementation.
• Facilitate workshops, define requirements, and challenge business needs.
• Develop or lead the development of dashboards, applications, and digital tools.
• Work with production data, PLCs, HMIs, Kepware, and industrial networks.
• Evaluate opportunities based on value, effort, feasibility, and scalability.
• Help shape the strategic Inmation platform.

Skills

• Experience with Inmation or similar industrial data platforms.
• Familiarity with PAS-X or other Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing context.
• Understanding of GxP and regulated production environments.
• Development experience with LUA scripting or similar.

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

• Production data platforms, industrial automation tools, and data visualization software.
