Job summary

Seeking a skilled IT Engineer to take strategic and technical ownership of the Windows client environment, focusing on end user computing. The role involves guiding a managed service partner, ensuring compliance with security regulations, and driving the long-term roadmap for the EUC landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Windows OS, SCCM, and Intune.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical owner for the EUC landscape, ensuring compliance and security of Windows devices.
• Collaborate with external vendors, guiding them on architectural decisions and ensuring proper execution of deployments.
• Define standards for OS imaging, application packaging, and patch management in cooperation with information security.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in the environment.
• Stay updated on Microsoft’s roadmap to adopt new capabilities that add business value.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills for vendor collaboration and relationship building.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining consistency in deliverables.
• Proactive monitoring of compliance trends and optimization of the environment.
• Knowledge of scripting, such as PowerShell, for automation.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
