We are looking for Optical Engineers to join our R&D project group.

Our output is state of the art laser products for a wide range of applications spanning from Bio-imaging to Quantum Computing and Industrial Semicon. We focus on maturing complex ideas into real products and do so in a project driven environment. Hence, we need people with an affinity for going all the way to finished product and working in teams across disciplines.

The role

As an optical engineer, you will design, build, and validate fiber laser systems. You will collaborate across disciplines to go from concept in a lab environment to manufacturing. You will join a team of highly talented and motivated colleagues working in the crossfire between cutting-edge technology and mature product development.

To do well in this role, we imagine that you:

• Have a background in photonics with hands-on experience from industry or academia (fiber lasers and/or free-space optics is a plus).

• Have solid laboratory skills and thrive with experimental work

• Work well in project teams, with members from different technical and cultural backgrounds

• Communicate comfortably in English
