We are expanding our New Product Introduction (NPI) team and are looking for NPI Engineers to join our team.
Our NPI team is organized in Product Engineering within R&D. NPI bridges the gap between product development and volume production, being the place where prototypes and first sales units are manufactured and tested.
NPI works closely together with development engineers (optical, electrical, mechanical and software engineers) for maturing the product, but also with automation engineers for maturing manufacturing processes.
THE POSITION
Your key responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis to resolve technical issues.
Analyzing manufacturing and test data to drive improvements in quality and productivity.
Building and testing advanced laser configurations for customer shipments.
Improving and standardizing production processes, including training and supporting technicians.
Supporting the transfer of products and processes to full-scale production.
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, you have a technical background within optics/photonics, electronics, or production engineering, combined with a strong process-oriented mindset. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment with technical challenges and deadlines, and you are a collaborative team player who both seeks and offers support.
Additionally, you bring:
Experience with complex technical systems (e.g., optical fibers, free space optics, or electronic test setups).
A proactive and process-driven mindset.
Experience from a manufacturing environment.
Strong English skills English. Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.
