Investment Controller

Job summary

This role involves managing investment controlling activities for real estate companies in the Nordics, ensuring high-quality financial information and operational processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration with a focus on controlling, banking and finance, auditing, or tax.
• Several years of experience in investment controlling, auditing, due diligence, or accounting, preferably in the real estate or fund industry.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and experience in reconciling different accounting frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with a high level of ownership and flexibility.
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and consistency of financial data from local accounting service providers and review reconciliations to Fund GAAP.
• Act as a trusted contact for internal stakeholders and external service providers, including accountants and legal advisors.
• Oversee timely preparation and review of annual financial statements and tax returns, coordinating tax audits.
• Support corporate resolutions and ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
• Contribute to acquisition and disposal processes and assist in setting up new investment structures.
