About the role

Job summary

As an Intellectual Property Administrator, you will be integral to the Global Legal Affairs department, focusing on the protection of intellectual property assets and supporting innovation in carbon emission reduction technologies. You will collaborate with Patent Counsels and other IP professionals to manage various IP tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and understanding of administrative rules related to intellectual property.
  • A degree in languages or a related field with a genuine interest in intellectual property.
  • Ideally, completion of the Qualified Intellectual Property Administrator (QIPA) exam and experience in an in-house role; candidates from private practice are also encouraged to apply.
  • Fluency in English, experience in patent administration, strong IT skills, and an interest in process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming communications related to the IP portfolio.
  • Create and manage due dates in the IP management system.
  • Oversee preparation and filing of assignment documents.
  • File patent applications online (DK, EP, PCT).
  • Coordinate national filings globally through foreign patent agents.
  • Support Patent Counsels with various tasks.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to invoices.
