Job summary

We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Engineer to play a key role in developing customer relationships and generating sales opportunities. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for both engineering and sales and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English and a local language is required.
  • Technical experience with mechanically engineered or process equipment products is preferred.
  • Experience in a Business-to-Business sales environment is beneficial, along with knowledge of CRM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through research and outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Secure orders for repeat and new business, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist sales engineers by coordinating meetings with prospective customers.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to enhance services and sales processes.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and sales techniques.

Skills

  • Ability to work effectively with key clients and make agile, commercially astute decisions.
  • Comfortable working with KPIs and in a corporate environment.

Education

  • Relevant technical or sales education is advantageous but not explicitly required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is an asset.
