Job summary

We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Engineer to establish and nurture customer relationships, focusing on generating sales opportunities. The ideal candidate should have a blend of engineering knowledge and sales acumen, thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English and a local language is required.
  • Technical experience with mechanically engineered or process equipment products is preferred.
  • Experience in a Business-to-Business sales environment is advantageous, along with familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through research and outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Secure orders for repeat business and new sales, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support sales engineers by arranging meetings with prospective clients and providing necessary information.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to enhance services and sales processes.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and sales techniques.

Skills

  • Ability to solve problems effectively and make commercial decisions quickly.
  • Comfortable working with KPIs and collaborating across departments.

Education

  • A background in engineering or a related field is beneficial.

Tools

  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is an asset.
