Job summary

The HR Business Partner will play a crucial role in shaping the organizational culture and enhancing leadership capabilities within a manufacturing site. This position involves close collaboration with local managers and alignment with regional HR standards to drive strategic initiatives and manage day-to-day HR operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of HR experience, preferably as an HR Business Partner or senior HR specialist in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor law, and union relations.
  • Experience in a matrix organization or international corporate environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with managers to align workforce strategies with business objectives.
  • Lead HR initiatives to maintain a stable manufacturing environment and ensure compliance with training and policies.
  • Drive workforce and succession planning, as well as talent development efforts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on HR matters and coach managers on leadership and performance skills.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR processes across various functions including recruitment and performance management.
  • Manage employee relations issues and ensure compliance with labor laws and collective agreements.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and maintain high standards in HR documentation and processes.
  • Represent HR in local leadership forums and promote global HR policies and diversity principles.
  • Analyze and act on HR metrics relevant to the business area.
