About the role

Job summary

The Health Affairs Lead for North Europe will define and implement scientific engagement strategies while enhancing the technical expertise of the team. This role involves leading a team of Health Affairs Managers and collaborating with various internal stakeholders to ensure effective health affairs operations across the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the veterinary industry or Animal Health/Human Health & Nutrition Scientific roles.
  • Proven people leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with relevant products and services is preferred.
  • Track record of engaging external partners through professional associations in a scientific context.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual Health Affairs plan and scientific communications strategy.
  • Oversee the creation of scientific communication materials and training for associates.
  • Collaborate with Vet Pillar teams to align health affairs agendas.
  • Plan and supervise the production of technical articles for trade magazines and vet media.
  • Represent the organization at local conferences and exhibitions.
  • Build engagement strategies with external stakeholders and foster relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Ensure high academic excellence in nutrition through partnerships with universities.

Education
