About the role

Job summary

This role involves supporting communication, advocacy, and partnership efforts with Nordic and Baltic audiences, enhancing visibility and engagement with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Must be a master's student or a graduate in Political Science, International Development, International Business, Communications, or related fields.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required (proficiency/level C). Knowledge of another official UN language or a Nordic language is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen communications and advocacy efforts targeting Nordic audiences.
  • Coordinate newsletters and information-sharing initiatives to keep stakeholders informed about ongoing work.
  • Create impactful content for social media and maintain relevant platforms.
  • Plan and coordinate events to enhance engagement with Nordic and Baltic partners.
  • Support partnerships by facilitating meetings and discussions with government counterparts.
  • Identify opportunities for innovative partnerships and support outreach activities.
  • Conduct analyses of the political landscape in Nordic and Baltic countries and provide recommendations.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills for drafting and reviewing official documents.
  • Experience in managing humanitarian messaging across digital platforms.
  • Ability to analyze political landscapes and donor environments.

Education

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields.

Tools

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
