Job summary

This role involves leading the strategy and governance of the Global Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple sites and functions within the pharmaceutical sector. The position requires strong leadership and oversight to ensure compliance with global GxP requirements and to foster a culture of quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in developing and leading Quality Management Systems in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or vaccine manufacturing industry.
  • Extensive background in operating within complex, highly regulated international environments.
  • Strong track record in global quality transformation and compliance initiatives.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the global QMS strategy and roadmap to enhance quality maturity and operational excellence.
  • Ensure ongoing inspection readiness and manage interactions with regulatory authorities.
  • Lead initiatives to improve quality culture, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and quality metrics for data-driven decision-making.
  • Promote digitalization and innovation within Quality Systems to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global team, fostering accountability and capability building.

Skills

  • Strategic thinking combined with operational execution.
  • Ability to drive organizational alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative leadership style with effective stakeholder engagement.

Education

  • Relevant degree in a scientific or engineering discipline is preferred.

Tools

  • Experience with quality management software, specifically Veeva, is advantageous.
