Head of Project Steering (Green Industry Transformation)

Job summary

The Head of Project Steering will play a pivotal role in the Green Industry Transformation business area, focusing on the governance and continuous improvement of project delivery for large industrial and infrastructure projects across the Nordics. This position involves leading through expertise and collaboration rather than traditional line management, ensuring successful project outcomes through effective decision-making frameworks and steering models.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in large and complex industrial, infrastructure, construction, or EPC environments.
• Proven track record in developing and improving governance models, processes, and management systems.
• Experience in leading change initiatives and fostering the adoption of new methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop specialists while supporting teams through transitions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern project governance structures and decision-making frameworks.
• Support early project development and customer discussions from a governance perspective.
• Establish project readiness and execution assurance processes.
• Lead the onboarding and capability development of specialists in the Project Steering function.
• Act as an integrator between governance, planning, cost, risk, and quality functions.
• Identify governance deviations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
