Head of Project Management Office (Transformation & Growth)

Job summary

The Head of Project Management Office will enhance project execution capabilities to support growth across Europe. This role involves overseeing the project execution framework and ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in leading complex cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives in an international setting.
• Over 5 years of leadership experience in managing and developing Project/Program Managers, including coaching and capability building.
• Proven track record in establishing project governance and delivery standards.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field; relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI, IPMA, SAFe, or LPM are advantageous.
• Proficiency in project management tools, reporting frameworks, Excel, and Power BI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on execution and the ability to create clarity and alignment in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve the project execution framework, governance model, and PMO standards across the organization.
• Manage the enterprise project intake process, ensuring effective assessment and routing of project requests.
• Develop and mentor a team of Project Managers while enhancing project management capabilities organization-wide.
• Ensure transparency through effective project governance and risk management, collaborating with senior stakeholders for successful project execution.
• Act as a hands-on leader for critical programs and transformation initiatives as needed.
