Head of Planning & Logistics (Green Industry Transformation)

Job summary

The Head of Planning & Logistics will oversee the development and governance of planning methodologies and logistics frameworks for large industrial projects focused on the green transition across the Nordics. This role is pivotal in enhancing project delivery and ensuring successful outcomes through effective collaboration and functional support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a leadership role within planning, logistics, project controls, or project execution.
• Strong ability to build capabilities and develop teams in complex project environments.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a focus on coaching and engagement.
• Background in manufacturing, process industries, energy, infrastructure, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern planning methodologies, logistics frameworks, and forecasting standards.
• Support early project development and customer discussions from a planning and logistics perspective.
• Lead the onboarding and development of specialists within the Planning & Logistics function.
• Drive integrated planning approaches that connect time, cost, production, and logistics.
• Act as a key integrator between planning, cost, risk, and project governance.
• Identify deviations in planning and logistics and support corrective actions.

Skills

• Strong leadership and change management abilities.
• Capacity to challenge conventional thinking and introduce innovative approaches.
• Proficient in establishing common ways of working to enhance project predictability.

Education

• Relevant degree in engineering, logistics, project management, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with project management software and planning tools is advantageous.
