The Head of KYC Operations is tasked with stabilizing, structuring, and enhancing the KYC operations to ensure efficient team performance while meeting regulatory obligations and commercial needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading operations or business-critical teams.
• Strong execution skills with the ability to drive progress through others.
• Experience with complex KYC cases in fintech, payments, banking, or crypto, especially for corporate clients.
• In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and practical application of CDD/ODD/EDD/EDR.
• Ability to maintain structure and clarity in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the KYC function, providing day-to-day leadership and creating clarity in operations.
• Establish priorities and ensure disciplined execution to remove backlogs and improve turnaround times.
• Strengthen KYC processes and governance, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Support risk management and ensure KYC operations are conducted in a controlled manner.
• Build a sustainable team and operating model by assessing current capabilities and identifying development opportunities.
