Head of Financial Crime Architecture

Job summary

The role involves leading the Financial Crime Prevention Architecture team to support the Group Financial Crime Prevention initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs, and driving operational excellence and compliance.

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of experience in banking, finance, fraud, anti-money laundering, or sanctions.
• At least 5 years in leading architecture and solution designs for large transformation projects.
• Proven experience in corporate customer authentication, workflow management, business intelligence, and data analytics in financial services.
• Strong team management experience, preferably in a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage the Financial Crime Prevention Architecture portfolio.
• Develop architecture strategies and transition architectures for Group Financial Crime Prevention.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Foster a collaborative environment and build high-performing teams.
• Leverage best practices to enhance efficiency and customer value.

Skills

• Ability to influence and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Experience in architecting GenAI and ML/Ops solutions is a plus.
• Proficiency in developing web, mobile, and backend solutions using technologies like JAVA and NOSQL.
• Familiarity with integration technologies and architecture patterns for data integration.

Education

• Relevant degree in a related field is preferred but not specified.

Tools

• Knowledge of architecture frameworks, governance processes, and relevant technologies in banking and financial services.
