Head of EPM Systems (Finance, Smørum)

Job summary

This role involves leading the transformation of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems within a global finance organization, focusing on replacing existing platforms and enhancing financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field.
• Significant experience in EPM, financial systems, finance transformation, or performance management.
• Proven track record in leading complex EPM implementations or major finance systems transformations, preferably in international settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the EPM transformation and roadmap, including the selection and implementation of a new platform to replace SAP BPC.
• Lead and develop a team of approximately five EPM specialists and manage relationships with implementation partners and technology vendors.
• Own the EPM operating model, ensuring governance, integrations, support, and continuous improvement.
• Standardize and enhance EPM processes for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.
• Define and govern the financial data model across ERP, EPM, and BI.
• Shape future reporting architecture and lead the transition of management reporting to BI.
• Drive adoption of new solutions and ways of working across the organization.

Skills

• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience with modern EPM platforms such as OneStream, Oracle Cloud EPM, CCH Tagetik, Anaplan, or SAP.
• Knowledge of financial data models, master data, system integrations, BI, data quality, and governance.

Education

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field.

Tools

• Familiarity with EPM and BI tools, financial systems, and data governance frameworks.
