Job summary

The Head of Crew Readiness is responsible for overseeing the pilot recruitment process, ensuring the organization attracts and selects suitable candidates to meet operational needs. This role involves collaboration with various teams to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in aviation or related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of pilot recruitment and assessment methods.
  • Experience in managing assessors or operational teams, including training and supervision.
  • Understanding of aviation compliance, safety culture, and data protection regulations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the pilot recruitment process based on operational needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and other stakeholders to maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment methods and assessment tools.
  • Lead the pilot recruitment assessor team, including training and performance follow-up.
  • Present updates and manage key stakeholder relationships in weekly meetings.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes based on feedback and operational insights.

Skills

  • Structured and analytical approach to recruitment and assessment.
  • Ability to balance assessment standards with candidate experience and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborative mindset with effective communication skills.

Education

  • Relevant qualifications in aviation, human resources, or a related field are preferred.

Tools
