Job summary

We are seeking a Group Lead for the night shift who will guide and develop a team while ensuring effective collaboration and results in a manufacturing environment. This role involves overseeing Shell Operations Support to ensure smooth production processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong focus on safety leadership and compliance, fostering a proactive safety culture.
  • Proven experience in production, manufacturing, or operations, particularly in composites, wind energy, or heavy industry, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Excellent people management skills, capable of coaching and developing team members while promoting engagement and accountability.
  • Understanding of SQDCP principles (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People) to support performance and continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to maintain machine readiness and material flow.
  • Ability to identify issues and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Adaptability to changing situations and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce safety standards in crane operations and material handling.
  • Ensure quality requirements for sub-components and services are met to support stable production.
  • Secure timely supply of materials and machine readiness for uninterrupted production.
  • Optimize resource utilization and control operational costs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage daily operations, planning, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Effective communication skills for clarity and transparency across the organization.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a diverse team, ensuring consistent performance.
  • Improvement-focused mindset with a commitment to safety, efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Strong decision-making skills to resolve operational challenges.

  • Experience with Six Sigma and understanding of 5S methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Education

  • Relevant educational background in manufacturing, operations, or a related field is preferred.
