Government Affairs Director (Denmark & Iceland)

Job summary

The role involves leading engagement with government and business stakeholders in Denmark and Iceland on technology policy issues, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. The Government Affairs Director will ensure that policy frameworks support innovation and economic growth while addressing trust and security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Analyze policy, regulatory, geopolitical, and market developments relevant to technology and innovation in Denmark and Iceland.
• Contribute to the country-level policy agenda and strategic priorities.
• Identify emerging issues and coordinate responses on topics like responsible AI and cybersecurity.
• Prepare briefings and policy updates for internal stakeholders.
• Build relationships with government institutions and key stakeholders.
• Represent the organization in public forums and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate across various teams to drive strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Law, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field, along with experience in government affairs or public policy.
• Proven ability to develop and manage strategic relationships to influence policy priorities.
• Experience working with government officials in Denmark or the Nordic region.
• Knowledge of digital policy areas such as cloud computing and AI governance.
