Global Time & Attendance Compliance Lead (Remote)

Job summary

The role involves overseeing the design and implementation of Time & Attendance systems to ensure compliance with statutory requirements across various countries, aiming to minimize compliance risks and support audit outcomes. The position requires a proactive approach to embed compliance into every stage of project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with global payroll Time & Attendance systems (e.g., Workday Time Tracking, UKG, ADP, Ceridian Dayforce) across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements related to working time directives, overtime calculations, and statutory record-keeping obligations.
• Ability to interpret labor legislation and translate statutory requirements into operational controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with T&A, Payroll Operations, and Product teams to integrate labor law requirements into system design.
• Ensure compliance reviews are part of project lifecycles, from requirements gathering to go-live readiness.
• Serve as the central compliance liaison for T&A initiatives, aligning various teams and establishing governance frameworks.
• Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests related to Time & Attendance systems.

Skills

• Strong project management skills with experience in embedding compliance into agile delivery frameworks.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience in risk management and establishing governance structures.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in compliance, legal, or project management fields.

Tools

• Familiarity with global payroll systems and compliance documentation tools.
