Global Time & Attendance Compliance Manager (Remote)

Job summary

The role focuses on ensuring that Time & Attendance systems and processes comply with statutory requirements across various countries, minimizing compliance risks and supporting audit outcomes. The position involves integrating labor laws and regulations into project delivery from design to implementation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with global payroll Time & Attendance systems (e.g., Workday Time Tracking, UKG, ADP, Ceridian Dayforce) across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements related to working time directives, overtime calculations, and statutory record-keeping.
• Ability to interpret labor legislation and translate statutory requirements into operational controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with T&A, Payroll Operations, Product, and Implementation teams to embed country-specific labor law requirements into system design.
• Conduct compliance reviews throughout project lifecycles, ensuring regulatory alignment from the outset.
• Serve as the central compliance liaison for T&A initiatives, coordinating with various teams to ensure compliance is integrated into processes.
• Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate audit requests and ensure timely delivery of documentation and evidence.

Skills

• Strong project management skills with experience in agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience in establishing governance structures that balance risk management with business needs.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with global payroll systems and compliance documentation tools.
