Global QEHS Specialist

Job summary

This role involves maintaining and developing feed and Kosher certifications to ensure compliance within the organization. The position is part of the global QEHS department, focusing on GMP+ certification and supporting Kosher certifications across various sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in quality/compliance within the food or ingredients industry, ideally in a global context.
• Proven experience in managing and maintaining certifications, particularly GMP+ and/or Kosher.
• Strong audit experience, including planning and execution.
• Ability to translate standards into clear procedures and processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills in a multicultural environment.
• Experience with certification bodies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance GMP+ certification at headquarters, including audit activities.
• Coordinate Kosher audits and related activities across Arla sites.
• Support Kosher approval for changes in raw materials and production processes.
• Serve as the primary contact for certification bodies regarding GMP+ and Kosher.
• Act as a global expert on GMP+ and Kosher requirements.
• Develop and deliver training on certification requirements.

Education

• Degree in Food Science, Engineering, or similar.

• Familiarity with quality management systems and auditing tools.
