Global Lead, IT Asset Management

Job summary

This role is focused on leading and enhancing the organization's global IT Asset Management (ITAM) capabilities, ensuring compliance and optimization of hardware and software assets. The position is critical for driving digital transformation and governance within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Over 15 years of experience in IT Asset Management or IT Operations, with at least 5 years in leadership roles on a global scale.
• Proven experience in regulated environments (GxP) and strong expertise in ITIL and ServiceNow ITSM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global IT Asset Management strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and compliance requirements.
• Lead a global team of asset managers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on service and compliance.
• Govern the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software assets, ensuring standardized processes and data accuracy.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract negotiations, driving cost optimization and financial accountability.
• Establish enterprise asset intelligence capabilities to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and lead audit readiness efforts.

Skills

• Deep expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Strong analytical, financial management, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities in a global context.

Tools

• Familiarity with ITSM systems, particularly ServiceNow CI/CMDB.
