Job summary

The Global Key Account Director is responsible for driving profitable growth and leading strategic customer development for the Private Label portfolio across Europe. This role focuses on unifying the Flexibles and Rigids businesses under a cohesive customer strategy to ensure margin protection and a competitive market position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 12–15+ years of experience in multinational Key Account Management or Commercial Leadership.
  • Proven management of large portfolios generating $75M–$150M+ in revenue.
  • Experience with multi-regional customer structures and cross-division exposure in Flexibles and Rigids packaging is preferred.
  • Private Label experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the European Private Label growth strategy in collaboration with the Regional Commercial Leader.
  • Manage senior-level customer relationships and negotiations, focusing on long-term agreements.
  • Ensure commercial alignment between Flexibles and Rigids to prevent channel conflicts.
  • Safeguard margins through effective cost recovery and disciplined pricing strategies.
  • Oversee working capital performance, including accounts receivable, forecasting accuracy, and inventory management.
  • Lead initiatives for value engineering and continuous profitability improvements.
