Job summary

The role of Global Category Leader - Specialty Products involves shaping procurement strategies for a significant spend portfolio in the water treatment sector. This position is based in Europe and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve financial, operational, and sustainability targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Solid experience in Category/Supplier Management, Purchasing, Production Control, Engineering, Product or Project management
• Strategic Sourcing and/or Category procurement experience

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a global category roadmap for managed spend, focusing on water-specific categories and niche sub-categories.
• Develop and maintain a strategic supplier panel aligned with category goals.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms.
• Drive annual savings, operational efficiency, and sustainability improvements.
• Mitigate business risks through comprehensive sourcing strategies.
• Conduct periodic business reviews to monitor supplier performance.

Education
