Job summary

This role involves leading the Dairy Enzymes portfolio within the Nutrition segment of Food Biosciences, focusing on product management and innovation. The position is based in Europe or North America and requires collaboration with various teams to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in product management, ideally within enzymes or dairy applications.
  • Proven experience in managing P&L and innovation portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of dairy processing technologies and enzyme functionalities.
  • Experience with global customer engagement and market launches.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~30%).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the global dairy enzymes portfolio, including SKU optimization and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and oversee the innovation pipeline in collaboration with R&D, Applications, and Commercial teams.
  • Drive profitability through pricing strategies and cost management.
  • Lead cross-functional teams for successful product launches, including go-to-market planning and post-launch evaluation.
  • Support customer interactions and co-development initiatives.
  • Contribute to the long-term strategy for dairy enzymes by identifying market trends and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams for alignment and execution.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of dairy processing technologies and enzyme functionalities.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to influence across functions and geographies.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for food enzymes is beneficial.
